*The Institute of Urban Development Studies (IUDS) at the Nanjing
University of Finance and Economics (NUFE**南京财经大学**) invites applications
for faculty positions at all levels (two posts)***

Applicants should be an active researcher, dedicated to university teaching
and supervision of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate
levels. Successful candidates will be able and willing to teach a broad
selection of courses in urban development, and/or public
administration. The appointees are also required to undertake
administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of IUDS.

*Requirements*

Successful candidates should hold a Ph.D. in urban studies, public
administration, or related disciplines. Specialization in the following
areas are highly desirable: Housing & housing policy in China; urbanization
and public service delivery; performance evaluation; municipal government;
policy analysis; social policy; and sustainable urban development.

*Salary*

Salary package, including research fund and housing allowance, aoffered
will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and
experience.

Nanjing University of Finance and Economics (NUFE), one of the key

The Institute of Urban Development Studies (IUDS) is an independent
research arm of NUFE, China. Established in 2012, IUDS has been both an
academic and an applied research centre serving the Yangtze Delta area. The
Institute is committed to examining urban development issues in a broad
range. IUDS works closely with academic organizations and local governments
to answer key questions and explore related policy issues about China’s
rapid urbanization.
