We are in discussions about setting up an art-related version of Helen's suggested workshop/record group. If we get the requisite permissions, then we hope this will be through ARLIS/CIG. We hope that a special-interest version of the regional practice groups will work well - where the "region" would be "art"! Will keep people posted on our progress ...

The COSEELIS group of Slavonic Libraries is talking about setting up a group to discuss specific Cyrillic and Slavonic related RDA queries. At UCL SSEES Library we also catalogue standard academic works in English so discussion with a general group would be welcome, UCL- or London-based. Before this discussion started yesterday I thought that I had a reasonable grip on RDA ... now I am not so sure!

But then maybe you could create a group of other Hebrew/Yiddish cataloguers to discuss records with? I think with specialist languages or formats, creating a community to discuss the new instructions and new practices would be even more valuable and I imagine many of you are the only people working on this material in your institution at the moment so a bit of collaboration might be useful?
