Yes, we are worried about how the authority file will be affected by our LMS as well. Will there be lists of the same name, with different designators at the end of each, or will the $e be excluded?

Ditto for us regarding the authority file and the $e. It's on our list of system things to investigate before RDA implementation. Are others in the same boat?

I left the relationship designator out of my early ones as i was still 'feeling my way' but agree that although the $eauthor is a bit ugly in terms of machines it is quite important. The only problem i have in practise is that currently our LMS has difficulty with the $e relator and the authority file!
