I have been searching for quite sometime for photographic evidence for Farlington Redoubt, on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. However I have drawn a blank on all fronts. I wonder if anyone can help with this.

I have a friend who remembers it as a child but his description is somewhat vague as he was quite young at the time.

I am particularly interested in how far the structure was completed as I am of the belief that it wasn't totally completed like that of Fort Purbrook that lies just to the west.

The redoubt would have been structurely similar to Bembridge Fort, on the Isle of Wight but with a differing plan.
