'A little late for me but I looked in my stoneware books and couldn't find one. However, I would go for spigot jar - its what new ones are called anyway.'

so...bunghole jar...spigot jar..take your choice

Mike

Subject: Tap Jar

Hello all

Can anyone help? Do you know which Thesaurus term would fit this object (see picture). The article refers to them as 'tap-jars'. I had thought of 'demi-john' but that doesn't really fit and that doesn't appear in the thesaurus either.

Could I call it a 'BUNGHOLE JAR'?

Thank you

Best wishes
