****Space Invader Tour: Part II*
19/07/12
6pm
Back due to popular demand, your umbrella wielding guide, John Williams,
reveals further lurking places of the infamous Space Invaders in
Manchester’s fascinating Northern Quarter. Taking a circuitous and
contradictory route through the eccentric, hidden and lost sights of this
ever changing part of the city centre, this Cafe Historique walk promises
to reveal not just dastardly aliens but also anecdotal and real histories
along the way. An opportunity to see urban regeneration and degeneration,
grandeur and squalor and a host of quirkiness. Meet outside the entrance to
the new National Football Museum (Urbis) in Cathedral Gardens.

The Space Invader Tour: Part II is presented as part of MANCHESTER
CAMPAIGNS.
