doesnt sound like its a "normal" case. I would go for a physio
assessment and take it from there, likely that he could return to work
doing something, surely....?

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] tenosynovitis

hi
I am trying to find "usual" recovery times for tenosynovitis of the
dominant hand, due to see a specialist no physio, NSAIDs
ineffective....in a young person who has not complied with diabetes
medication regimes!

I gave him the standard nursey finger wag (mine not his!- his hurt!) but
bosses want to know that now he is taking the diabetes pills again...how
long til he recovers...job is lots of writing...no computer.
GP has said complete rest- given it is dominant hand that is unlikely at
home so boss wants him back at work doing other stuff ie filing, post
etc. .

google - found about horse recovery times but not human.

Over to the great knowledge base out there.....

Jacqui
