Hi Lyndsey

As well as an external drive I use SugarSync
http://www.sugarsync.com/index.201205a.html to store the increasingly large
data base for my research, it gives you 5GB free.

I haven't stored any OH records etc on it as I still need to be convinced
that it is safe and doesn't contravene the DPA eg, storing info outside the
UK. I know there are people on the list with lots of knowledge about this so
hopefully they will respond with their thoughts. See

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] The Cloud...

Hello All,

just doing some investigations regarding data storage and paper-free systems
and wondered what everyone's views were on storing Occ Health Medical files
on the cloud. Has anyone used this, what things do I need to consider and is
it secure!?

Also, if anyone has used this type of system do they have any sites in
particular that they would recommend?

as always your thoughts are appreciated, thank you in advance,

Warm Regards

Lyndsey
