Subject: Leazes Place
name
Hi folks,
does anyone know what Leazes means as a place
name?
I have googled it and tried looking at the EPNS web page, and
also our local volumes, but all I have found is the following link explaining it
http://www.timarchive2.freeuk.com/html/leazes.htm
but I am not convinced this is a reliable source, so any help
appreciated.
I think it is a North Eastern England term
