Changing English in internationalising universities: two work-in-progress language awareness projects focussing on students and new academic staff
Information about the event:
This seminar aims to address changing ideas about English, and especially the variable and dynamic nature of English as used in international contexts. The specific issue for discussion is the need to develop UK and international staff and students' awareness of lingua franca English usage by both 'native speakers' and 'non-native speakers'.
