Dear all Has anyone done any research into developing characters for family learning resources? For example what sort characters or pictures work best for developing trails, interpretation panels, guidebooks aimed at children etc? Obviously the effectiveness of the type of character (cartoon, animal, person) will depend on the age range the resource is aimed at, but it would be helpful to know if any general research has been done in developing themes and characters for family audiences.
