Great that Tecla is going iOS, but don't lose your Android roots please!

Funny about the name change. A while back I tweeted some positive comments about tecla access and I got a tweet back from the scary multinational corporation saying thank you for endorsing our software!

Hola Simon,

Thanks for your kind comments... I would be interested in learning how a more thorough comparison turns out. Our goal has always been to provide full switch access to as many mainstream devices as possible since the benefits, as you suggest, multiply quickly.

I'll write a post to the list once the Tecla Shield for iOS becomes available (in just a few days!).

Also, note the name change... we received a scary 'cease and desist' letter a while ago from a multinational corp. so we 'upgraded' to 'Tecla' for our name.

cheers!

I finally managed to set this up on an Android phone the other day and was pleasantly surprised (with minimal testing). It compares favourably to Click2Phone.  Should do a comparison at some point (have lost the setup after Android decided to upgrade, grrrr).

Be good to see Tekla mature and offer full-iOS access method and start opening things up for things like using mainstream home automation apps and AAC apps for EC...

Cheers
