A reminder that the deadline for submissions for contributed talks and posters to the RSS 2012 Conference is this Friday – 30 March.
The Royal Statistical Society’s International Conference will take place at the Telford International Centre from 3-6 September 2012.
Plenary speakers during the conference will be Hal Varian (Google), Martine Durand (OECD), David Hand (Imperial College) and Anthony Davison (EPFL).
In addition there will be over 30 invited sessions covering a diverse range of topics including:
- ‘Big Data’ challenges
- Experimental design challenges in industry
- Fisher’s statistical legacy
- Measuring national well-being
- Methodology for longitudinal studies
- New developments in clinical trials
- Recent advances in statistical computing
- Statistical aspects of networks
- Statistical genetics
- Statistics of inequality
- Statistics and the Olympics
