Hi All
Do you know a UK scientist, social scientist, engineer or clinician who would benefit from improved communication skills and media awareness?
If so please encourage them to apply for a 2012 British Science Association Media Fellowship.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for researchers to spend 3-8 weeks working alongside national news journalists to produce accurate, well-informed stories about developments in science.
“I came away brimming with ideas, skills and advice for my researcher peers and I met some amazing people with the same values and drive as me. It was extremely interesting, educational and fun I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in the world outside their research bubble.” Media Fellow

We welcome applications from researchers at any stage of their career and further details and the application form can be found at www.britishscienceassociation.org/mediafellows

Application deadline: 11 March 2012

The 2012 Media Fellowships are made possible thanks to generous support from the Wellcome Trust, RCUK, BBSRC, STFC and the IET

Thanks for your help

Best wishes
Amy
