I just received the following from Hitomi Hongo: > A sad news that you might have already been informed. > Chiori, the Japanese student in Munich wrote to me yesterday that > Angela von den Driesch passed away on 4 January. The funeral will be > held on the 16th. Angela's passing is a great loss for Zooarchaeology/Archaeozoology; her many contributions of outstanding quality and significance will ensure that she is long remembered as a foundational scholar in our field.
