Actually, as those with a long memory will attest, STEAM stands for Science TEAchers’ Magazine, produced by ICI, and which I edited in the early 1990s. I can’t remember if we trademarked it. I have a complete set which would doubtless fetch a fortune on eBay. Having closed it down, along with ICI’s strategic support for science education at the time, it wasn’t many years before the company was taken over. There’s a moral in there somewhere.
