Dear colleagues, AMOSSHE has recently opened booking for a training day on 24 February that may be of interest to all staff delivering frontline services to students. Plenary discussions and workshops may be of particular interest to disability practitioners in HE, as they will include wellbeing and counselling services models at Derby and Durham; also looking at examples of practice in other support areas may inspire new ideas in your services. 'Doing things differently' will explore case studies that look at innovative practice already taking place across the sector. It will give participants the opportunity to discuss how such innovations have come about, and how these examples or the lessons from them could be translated to other areas of practice. Speakers from a variety of backgrounds and institutions will share their experiences of doing things differently, and lead groups in questions and debate.
