Hello, I'd like to ask a question about implementing DC terms properties as a schema. I am currently setting up different metadata schemas within a digital asset management system in order to best decribe our resources. In doing so I am pointing each field to each of the properties in the DC Terms namespace at the appropriate namespace URI. For example, http://purl.org/dc/terms/abstract, to create the 'Abstract' field within the schema. My question focusses on how doing this would relate to the DCMI classes. Is it best practice to use every property from the DC /Terms/ namespace, section 2 of the http://dublincore.org/documents/2010/10/11/dcmi-terms/ document, as one long Dublin Core schema within our system? Also, how would the DCMI Classes, section 6 of the above document, be represented in the kind of schema I am trying to produce? I hope that this makes sense and forgive my ignorance on this issue.
