The School of Media and Film at the University of Winchester requires an
hourly paid lecturer to teach a second year option module in *Social Media*.
This module is delivered as part of the BA (Hons) Media Studies programme.
It explores a range of theoretical approaches available for the analysis of
social media though students will also be asked to demonstrate some
practical skills in the use of social media for communication and
campaigning purposes.



We are looking for someone with a good grasp of social media theory and an
enthusiasm for teaching social media. If you are interested in this

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
