Hi

Last Friday saw the release of the Value of Reuse report from the OER Impact study by the TALL team at Oxford.

News release:
http://www.jisc.ac.uk/news/stories/2011/09/oer.aspx

A video of Marion Manton and Dave White is available summarising the report, along with a podcast of Dave White, the report itself (the accessible, i.e distilled, version) and the full research study report behind it.

Highlights for me:

Ø Iceberg analogy of how much reuse is invisible

Ø Commentary on reuse in practice: designing, discovery, discerning, designing, delivering

Ø Five things you should know about OER

This report is a really useful bridge between curriculum design and delivery, digital literacy, and issues around open.
