Dear all

Please find attached details of a professional development workshop,
Creative Ideas for the Outdoor Classroom, at the National Trust's
Killerton, near Exeter and at Heatree Activity Centre, near Newton
Abbot, on the 11 October and 10 November, respectively. This
professional development workshop is suitable not only for those
working with schools but also for those wanting to engage families and
informal groups with the natural world.

You will experience a variety of creative activities stimulating all
the senses, to take away and use to enrich the experiences of visitors
to your outdoor sites.

The workshop will be facilitated by Mark Jefferys, one of only three
accredited Earth Education trainers in the UK, and Laura Hetherington,
learning and arts consultant with a specialism in theatre,
storytelling and arts-based activities.

Comments from delegates on previous workshops include:

"I loved the whole workshop - it was all so relevant and exciting and
will help us to engage with all our visitors from pre-school age right
through to adults."
"I learned to think a little differently: it was magic and
inspirational."
"Excellent leaders and fantastic value for money."
