Dear Ross,

The Europe in the UK site is currently being re-designed so the changes will probably need to be done by the webmaster there. I've copied this reply to Elaine Davies at the Commission in London as I hope she will be able to find the right person to ask. Hope this works.

Best wishes
Patrick

Subject: Europe in the UK website - how to amend EDC details?

Dear all,

One of the tasks that has vexed me since taking over as EDC Librarian at Reading is getting my details up on the Europe Direct and related websites. This has proved much harder than it ought to be; I think I'm finally getting somewhere with the Europe Direct Network site but the Europe in the UK Information Network website (http://www.europe.org.uk/info/) remains a stubborn beast.

My basic issue:

1) The page at http://www.europe.org.uk/regions/contact/-/id/22974/ is out of date
2) I cannot edit the page using the button at the bottom, because I'm not Ian Sainsbury and lack both his login and access to his email
3) I have registered my own account under my own name/email, but this is not linked in to the Reading EDC data
4) I have relayed (pun intended) this information to the site via the feedback mechanism, the only contact I could see, but have received no response

I'm sure that other people will have gone through the same process, so your advice on how I can get this sorted without further gnashing of teeth would be much appreciated.

Best wishes, Ross
