If it was me I would set the course as one of the questions, so that their answer lets you sort the data out later on. Not 100% sure if this would work.

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to pass a variable into a Blackboard survey?

 

We want to produce a generic survey for our learners using Blackboard’s survey tool, but need a way of automatically identifying the course they’re on.

 

Initially I’d thought of putting the survey in all courses and then providing a link through to this survey from one of our tabs. However, it suddenly occurred to me that the survey will have a different content ID/assessment ID in each course, so making a generic link probably wouldn’t be an option.

 

I’d be interested to hear if anyone else has done something similar?
