Dear Kirsteen and colleagues,

I asked our Learner Development Services to respond to this; here's their response:

Please see draft booklet for further information.  If a student requires a more substantial and specialised level of support then we will consider their needs  case by case. The cost would be considered by us  and may involve us sourcing funding from within the institution, such as the faculty in which the student is studying and international office. There is no designated central funding as such". Nicki Ho, Learning Development Adviser

If anyone has any specific queries, then I'm sure that Nicki would be happy to help, her email address is: [log in to unmask]

Subject: International students and reasonable adjustments

Can I ask what support in terms of reasonable adjustments are made for international students at your institutions?
Is there a central fund to cover costs for international students?
Do schools have their own funds for any reasonable adjustments not covered by the DSA or other funds?
Many thanks
