Films can be about any subject. The Festival also presents the Margaret Mead
Filmmaker Award (eligible films must present their US Premiere at the Mead.)
This award includes a CASH prize and will be presented at the Festival this

The Mead Festival screens films that increase our understanding of the
complexity and diversity of the peoples and cultures that populate our
