Hello Helen

I’m afraid that I am the bearer of sad news in that Anne and I received notification from Claire Honeybourne that Emily Spain (nee Harker) EBSCO’s trainer, passed away yesterday. Emily had been suffering from cancer I believe.

I don’t know if anything has come from Claire to the core content list but I thought the library community would appreciate being told as I know many colleagues had trained with Emily and had also worked with her in the past when she was with the NHS. Anne and I have both passed on our condolences via Claire to Emily’s family, friends and colleagues. We are saddened by the loss of one of our fellow professionals who was well liked and well respected.

I have no details of funeral arrangements so if colleagues want to find out, Claire would be their best contact.

Would you mind passing the message on to the network for us?
