You might look at Bartolus de Saxoferrato on the constitutions of Henry VII, Ad reprimendam & Qui snt rebelles, in any edition of the opuscula of Bartolus, usually the last volume of his Opera omnia in print,

It talks briefly about lese majeste & perduellio in 14th century legal opinions.

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear medieval-religion colleagues,
I'm teaching a unit on Dante this year, and am struck by (among other
things) his placement of traitors in the lowest area of Hell. I wonder
if anyone knows of either a scholarly study of treachery/treason
(either as sin or as illegal act) in medieval Europe, or even of a
simple shopping list of punishments that different political entities
would inflict upon those they found guilty of treachery.
Many thanks to all, George Ferzoco
