This conference brings together an international group of disability  
studies researchers. This call for papers seeks contributions around  
the following areas:

ü  Challenging the psychologisation of childhood

ü  Making sense of normal and normalcy

ü  Making sense of and challenging ableism

ü  Questioning concepts of ‘good parenting’

ü  Intersections of child, gender, class, ethnicity, ability

ü  Exploring policy conceptions of child and disability

ü  Bringing together ideas from the human and social sciences and  
humanities
