Choice and change - Sharing Experiences of a Qualitative Longitudinal Study
Presented by: Social Policy Research Unit, University of York
As part of the Timescapes Seminar Series

10th February 2011
Students' Union, Conference Room, University of Leeds
12.30pm - 4.30pm

The Choice and Change study has longitudinally examined the experiences of welfare service users that have made choices about their services and support, within the context of changing circumstances. Conducted as part of the Social Policy Research Unit's Department of Health-funded research programme, four groups of disabled people were interviewed over a period of 3 years about the changes that they had experienced in their care and support as a result of their disability or illness.

In this seminar the study team will present a selection of the research findings and share their experiences of conducting a qualitative longitudinal study. Speakers from the team include Caroline Glendinning, Kate Baxter, Parvaneh Rabiee, Jane Maddison and Wendy Mitchell.

The seminar is free to attend, but please contact Sarah Finney if you wish to attend -
