I've also used the health stats sites suggested by Southampton University Library's health stats page. Additionally I've performed a lit search, and looked at references from articles that looked promising, to no avail. How many appendicectomies performed in the UK (or a region will do)? (under 18s) Bonus question....... How many diagnoses of appendicitis resulted in an appendicectomy, and / or in how many cases did the histology confirm the diagnosis?
