The Centre for Film Studies and the Department of Spanish are
delighted to welcome emerging Spanish filmmaker Ana Lorenz to
present a selection of her work. We will be screening Algo Queda
(Something Remains, 2010; winner of the best short film award
at both SNCFILM, Madrid and Ko&Digital Festival, Barcelona), Conchín
se lo traga (Conchin Swallows, 2010; in competition at
CortoGeniAl Puente Genil, Spain) and two of her music videos - Fugaz,
for the group The Pinker Tones, and Lovers, for the group
Ambros Chapel.
Ana will be on hand to introduce the films and engage in a Q&A
following the screening.
All films will be shown with English subtitles and everyone is
welcome to attend.
