Records & ERM Systems Manager

	... for an independent specialist regulator involved in economic regulation, safety policy and regulation and consumer protection. This role is to manage the organisation's ERM system, develop and implement polices and procedures for the operation of the system and record management function. Retention and disposal policies to reflect the lifecycle of the organisations records are to be addressed transferring relevant materials to The National Archive or offsite archive storage. This role also requires technical ability to oversee and update new upgrades testing user acceptance, production of management information to manage performance, development of a user network within the organisation. This key role requires liaison with the Head of Information Resources ( to whom this role reports) to scope out opportunities for continuous improvement of the records management function to meet both statutory and commercial business requirements.

	The successful candidate will have good analytical skills to assess trends or changes in business requirements and offer strategies to adapt to change, have good interpersonal skills in terms of people management and in influencing outcomes, and will be an excellent communicator who offers a persuasive and inclusive style, and who will demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm and reliability.
