EXTENDED: CALL OUT - ARCHIVIST
An opportunity to work on a freelance, part-time contract over a 12 month period with Project Art Works to build a new archive of art, data, documentation and projects
We are an independent, specialized visual art organization based in Hastings, and have amassed a large collection of physical artworks of all scales, photography, video film, texts and project data.
We have been awarded funding to build an archive of this work and other data for our own purposes of research and, in the future, for others to access.
We wish to commission an archivist who has knowledge of professional arts organization/s and experience in building visual arts archives and current software that can work with us to plan and build this comprehensive archive of our work.
The role covers 60 days with a fee of £9,600 plus travel expenses and may suit an experienced freelance or part-time practitioner within travelling distance of Hastings.
