If anybody has any good articles regarding the paperclip (and its place in archives) in particular the 'digital paperclip' please forward them to me - I want to do a write up on my blog.

Subject: Collecting policies (and paperclips)

Dear all,

I would be very grateful if any specialist repositories could share links to their online collecting policies? I am particularly interested in repositories which hold a combination of archives, books and museum objects. There seem to be lots of local authority and university policies available courtesy of a Google search, but I am not having much luck otherwise. Of course, attachments sent direct to me are also welcomed. Nothing seems to have been posted on the listserve recently.

I am quite tempted to add in a paragraph about founding a paperclip collection, given the level of interest shown of late. 'Material culture of the paperclip' - an additional paper for the forthcoming conference??!!

Thanks,

Charlotte
