Two Tenure-track Faculty Positions The Department of Neurosurgery and the Center for Imaging Research (CIR) are jointly seeking an MRI physicist and a neuroimaging scientist (methods and/or experimental designs) for expansion of MRI diffusion imaging research, and applications to spinal cord injury and brain disorders. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and an outstanding record in research. Candidates are expected to develop strong independent research programs within an interactive and collaborative environment of research and clinical investigators. Rank, tenure, and salary are commensurate with qualifications. The CIR has state-of-the-art imaging facilities including two research-dedicated GE 3T whole body scanners, a Bruker 9.4 T/30cm MRI scanner. The Medical College of Wisconsin is in the process of acquiring a 7T human MRI scanner and has an ongoing, state-of-the-art MEG Program and access to TMS-EEG.
