Interesting coincidence. The Good Friday liturgy at Saint Joseph Abbey includes a hymn (or portion thereof) that begins "O that shame..." It was fashioned by a Benedictine after a hymn by Joseph the Hymnographer. I am going to do a search for the original text - if such is on line.
