Digital Preservation – The Planets Way

19-21 April 2010: Registration closes Friday 9 April
Pontificia Università Gregoriana, Rome

***Apologies for cross-postings***

Is your organisation involved in large scale digitisation or do you need to receive large volumes of digital content?

Do you have the need to retain digital content and access it in the future?

If so, you can find out how to use Planets’ tools and services to plan and preserve digital content for the future.

The last in the series of five, three-day workshops at Pontificia Università Gregoriana, Rome will provide:

- an introduction to Planets approach, tools and services to build and execute a preservation plan

- practical case studies showing long-term preservation at prestigious European organisations including practical implementation of Planets

- opportunities to share ideas and best practices with experts from various countries and institutions across Europe

Our last two events were fully booked and places for this final event are now limited.

Register now for day 1 only at a cost of EUR95 - or for the whole three-day event at a cost of EUR199 - at: http://www.tcp-events.co.uk/planets2010/.

Join us also at the event dinner at Antica Trattoria Tritone on the evening of Monday 19 April at 20:00 (EUR50) and for a guided walking tour of ancient Rome on Tuesday 20 April (EUR10)!
