I watched it this morning. It was good - and both poets produced worthy pieces, with some great lines - both worth editing down. It's a hard task, as Sam W-W showed the week before when he very nearly didn't have anything to share! John was absolutely in his natural element with the dried out landscape and creek, etc. Alison went the history and 'social' route more, so had more narrative in hers. Interesting the difference - even in the machinery they used to scribe with! JK goes pen, manual typewriter, then laptop. Alison went straight to her laptop (one of those wonderful white Apple notebook thingos). Alison was pretty and very confident; John has put on some weight but isn't any shorter.
