Does anyone know of any systematic longitudinal research in the UK looking at changing levels of imported programmes on the PSBs (esp in peak-time) over the last 50 years? Either by hours or by spend?

Instinct suggests that they have declined substantially since the days of Kojac, Dallas etc. and the raw data will be in various annual reports. But has anyone actually pulled it all together?

Very grateful for any suggestions or pointers, this is for the current House of Lords inquiry into UK content.

Many thanks.

Steve.
