I may end up sorry to have asked this, but in the pursuit of knowledge... Can anyone explain why there seems to be a problem with computer recognition of the composer name Eugene Ysaye? Our DS authority file identifies him as Eugene Ysa. I've seen other web references as Ysa?e. Is it the double dots (umlaut?) that computer systems don't like? Is there a simple solution or are we stuck with the unrecognisable Ysa?
