Our mission is to promote, protect and develop wetlands and their wildlife. WWT operates nine visitor centres in the UK aimed at bringing people closer to wetland wildlife. An exciting opportunity has arisen at our London Wetland Centre for a Learning Manager who has the ability to implement our formal and non-formal Learning for Life programmes. This will involve the management of staff, learning spaces, resources and the department’s budget with responsibility for facilitating evaluative research programmes to assess effectiveness and contribute to the overall development of all WWT’s programmes. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience in a teaching and learning environment. A qualification in First Aid and an interest in nature conservation and environmental issues is desirable.
