These are the bonus payments for last year so they are not rewarding the failure of this year. 
Do the SLC not get advice from the DSA quality group and people at Department of BiS? 
Whoever gave the go ahead for the turning down of and routine ‘loss’ of medical evidence probably will have achieved a saving of money (and maybe they will get a bonus?!).

I can't wait for the FOI request that shows how who (and how) they paid for the 'specialist' advice that ended up with them deciding to make such strange decisions regarding DSA admin this year, along with how much money (and time) was spent on subsequently having to go out and defend, sorry I mean explain, those decisions.
