A postdoctoral research position is currently available for a statistician with a sound understanding of experimental design and linear mixed models. You’ll support project teams in the design and analysis of studies run to assess the efficacy and safety of new chemical entities. As part of a team, you will have the opportunity to obtain practical experience in the application of statistical theory, as well as help to assess the value of innovative approaches to study design and analysis. We are currently assessing novel approaches for the handling of risk and uncertainty in decision making, Bayesian methods in the design and analysis of studies, as well as efficient ways to obtain maximum information from longitudinal studies. Some time will be available for you to research new statistical methodologies relevant to the issues we face.
