Dear AllStat Mailing List, Our client is seeking to fill several positions based in Edinburgh: 2 x Senior Pricing Analyst positions Job Description To control the profitable development of the business, the pricing of new products, and the effective analysis and monitoring of competitors pricing actions through: - . Controlling pricing actions based on the monitoring and analysis of performance and mix trends. . Enhancing management information, rating and pricing concepts. . Application of feedback received from sales and service areas. . Monitoring actions of competitors. Requirements . Minimum of 3-5 years in-depth experience in a pricing and underwriting environment. . A good working knowledge of the personal lines market. . In-depth experience of Excel and Access. . Working knowledge of Emblem and SAS. . Educated to a high level in mathematics/statistics or a business related subject. . ACII preferred. . Good project management skills. . Good risk evaluation skills. . Proactive and innovative. . Excellent skills in explaining, both internally and externally to key business partners, pricing decisions based on detailed analysis. Package . Competitive market package will be provided 2 x Junior Pricing Analyst positions Our client is also looking to fill two junior pricing analyst positions to start immediately. Requirements . Some prior relevant work experience desirable but not essential. . Candidate must be from the EEA (European Economic Area) or in possession of a valid permit to work in the UK. . Graduated with a 2:1 or above in a highly numerate degree with 300+ UCAS points also prior to entering University. . Strong interpersonal skills. . Strong desire to remain in Edinburgh for the foreseeable future. Package . Competitive market package will be provided.
