The Oxford Centre for Staff and Learning Development
Online course Programme 2009/10

Our range of online courses are either one day tasters or between four and six weeks long and have been designed to give you time and space to think through complex issues, identify how they impact on your own work, and make plans for future developments. All the courses are activity-based, supported by course texts and by specially developed online resources. Each week you will work through some guided readings, record your thoughts, share your work with others in your group, discuss your work and that of other members of your group, and analyse and summarise your findings.

Courses on offer this academic year starting November are:

Online tutoring
Internationalising the curriculum for all students
Engaging students with assessment and feedback
Online identity
Leading educational change (SEDA course)
Evaluating technology innovation in learning and teaching
Engaging learning with social software
Project supervision
Digital literacies
Supporting educational change
REflective learning
Benefits and challenges of communities of practice in HE
Researching e-learning
Blogging for reflective learning

We can also offer tailored courses, workshops and consultancy which are run ‘in-house’ for a particular group, team or institution in the UK and overseas. This is especially beneficial where there is sufficient need for training or where you are promoting institutional change.
