medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Dear John, Thanks for sharing your query. I hope your student will investigate doing a Masters degree in the United Kingdom. There are quite a few available, and I think a combination of the quality and content of the programmes (sp!!) here, and the difference he'd have in his CV, would give him an edge in doctoral applications (even to 'the Ivies' -- yuck!).
