I know of an article that looks at Aliens, but might still be of interest: Rhona J.Berenstein  (1990) ‘Mommie Dearest: Aliens, Rosemary’s Baby and Mothering’ in Journal of Popular Culture, vol 24:2, pp. 55-73.

i [seem to] recall that in the late eighties and nineties there was a great deal of feminist critique of ridley scott’s alien [1979]  . . . nevertheless a  thorough recent bibliographical search has somehow managed to turn up very little  . . . i would therefore be grateful for any references to critical work – essays or book chapters – that considers this film from a feminist vantage point

many thanks
