the details of a car that was parked quite legitimately outside his
house, but
to which he objected would not be given the information.

Relatedly, I have received a parking 'ticket' from NCP based on data
supplied
by the DVLA (I told them to bug off, seeing I wasn't even on NCP land,
but just
outside their car park, and they did drop their efforts to relieve me
of £70 or
summat similar).
Nonetheless, I found that incident a bit worrying from a privacy point
of view.
What next? Could I get on the DNA database and then have my DNA details
sold to
my (potential or current) life insurers? Yeah yeah, a joke, but a
serious point
here.
