When the UK recovers from the current recession what expectations does this
design research community foresee that that will be the most challenging to
the graphic design discipline? What current developments within digital
media will impact the most post-recession?

I am interested to garner opinion from across the design disciplines but
focussing mostly upon digital design rather than paper-based design (this is
not a print-is-dead post btw). Has anyone read any good articles, papers
etc. on this topic recently?
