Postdoctoral Research Assistant: Brain Connectivity
Oxford University Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (FMRIB)

Grade 7: Salary £28,839 – 35,469 p.a

The Centre for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain  
seeks a postdoctoral research assistant to work with Drs Tim Behrens  
and Saad Jbabdi in diffusion MR imaging of the brain.
The aim of the research plan is to improve methodology for diffusion  
tractography and to provide methods for combining anatomical  
connectivity information with functional connectivity information.
  Employment could begin from October 2009 and is for a period of 2  
years. The post is funded by the EC.

Candidates must have a doctorate in a relevant discipline, and have  
prior experience of Neuroimaging or machine learning/statistical  
inference.  Computer programming skills are also essential. Candidates  
should have an excellent academic track record.
